Black Francis' The Golem
Black Francis is set to release his project The Golem, a 4CD/1DVD set and 50-page book chronicling the score to the silent 1920 German expressionist film “Der Golem” that he wrote and performed for the San Francisco International Film Festival in 2008. I recieved my copy last week and watched it today. I love the film and the score fits perfectly. By the time it finished I was full of ideas, it inspired me and it gave me a few ideas for our collaboration which is still a work in progress... I am very excited to start work on our film project again in the new year.
