Dinos Chapman @ The Hospital Club
One of the perks of my cousins new fancypants job at the Hospital Club is that I get to go along to interesting events held there, like this talk with Dinos Chapman on his cover artwork for the latest edition of Granta 'Horror'. There was an exhibition of Chapman Brothers and emerging artist Kanitta Meechubot's art to enjoy before the talk & I also got a free copy of the magazine although it looks a lot more like a book to me. Dinos Chapman and Kanitta Meechubot talked about the artwork they made for the magazine and discussed horror and visual art in a broader sense - a topic that I am always interested in hearing more about. This edition of Granta includes literary pieces by Paul Auster, Will Self, Mark Doty, Stephen King, Sarah Hall and Joy Williams.
