    We managed to get ourselves tickets to Tunnel 228 seconds before they sold out. I was intrigued to see what a site specific collaboration between Punchdrunk & the Old Vic would be like. Once we entered the space I was surprised to discover it was an exhibition of works from various artists, sewn together with performance elements.   I enjoyed the limited visibility and kept edging towards dark corners to see if there was a hidden space I hadn't seen, arms outstretched and imagining things in the darkness that werent actually there.  The high points for me were in...
  • 28 May 2010 Introducing Ilia Darlin
    Earlier this month I met singer songwriter Ilia Darlin who had seen Sissy at the Frieze Exhibition and asked me to make a video to introduce her & her music.  Ilia had been hugely successful at home in Greece, having recently starred in Artherapy a film by director Nicos Perakis and had moved to London to further her music career internationally. We shot the video using the gallery space at Machine A (formerly Digitaria), in the Charlie le Mindu & Anna Trevelyn exhibit that was showing there at the time and at Ilia's rehearsal space off St Johns Street, EC2....

    This month I was asked to direct another great project from Producer Karen Janody, a music video for London based Vita & the Vicious, for their latest single You May Not Know It.   Bennycrime made an excellent making of video about this shoot which involved clearing the entire basement of the George pub in Clapton, but clear it we did and here is the result.
