Adele
Lighting Designer Rob Sinclair wanted to create a spotlit silhouette of Adele for the opening of her shows for her International 21 tour. Without the space on stage to do this with lighting he and George, the producer, contacted me to attend the production rehearsals so we could create the effect with video, which would be projected onto a screen at the front of the stage. During this time Adele was suffering with a chest infection and was forced to cancel some of her earlier gigs to get well, but third time lucky in Leicester we shot the silhouette and the effect worked perfectly, I attended the show at Hammersmith Apollo and the gig was filmed at the Royal Albert Hall which will be released on DVD on 28th November 2011.
